About

Who holds the room?

What opens when someone stays long enough to notice.

You've already met me, in a way.

I'm the voice on these pages. The one who reads every note. The one who will hold the room while you ask what you've been carrying.

My name is Douglas.

I climbed too.

Years of building and leading. Deals, teams, tables on other continents.

And somewhere up there, the same thing found me that may have found you. A thought that didn't leave.

I did what you may be doing now. I kept moving. I worked around it.

Then I gave it space.

That's the turn that brought me to this work.

And then I needed it again.

Eleven years caring for two people I loved. One in the house. Then one in another city.

And the work. Always the work.

Full. Stretched. Doing the thing I'd been called to do, with no room left to feel where it was going.

The second turn arrived on an ordinary afternoon, in a city I'd been driving to for years. I've written about it.

Twice now.

Which tells me something worth saying plainly.

This isn't a thing you solve once.

Something fills you. Then something else asks for room. It keeps happening, as long as you're still alive to what's calling.

Now this is the work.

I sit with people, one at a time, and hold the room while they meet what's calling them.

I ask open questions. I help us stay curious. I keep the space steady.

The seeing is yours. It comes from the version of you already calling.

My part is simpler. I stay long enough to notice.

If you want to know what the sessions actually are, The Method says it plainly.

I write, too. About walks, fields, questions, and what pulls us.

Some of it will be visible soon.

None of this is about becoming someone else.

It's about becoming more available to who you're already becoming.

If you'd like to talk, I'm here.
