Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

This page explains what information QEmerge collects from you, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

This Privacy Policy applies to qemerge.com and to all interactions with the QEmerge practice.

What we collect

When you contact QEmerge or book a conversation, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, and (if you choose to provide it) phone number — when you initiate contact or schedule a session.
  • Communication history — emails, messages, and notes from conversations.
  • Scheduling information — calendar details for sessions you book.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers ourselves.
  • Session notes — minimal notes kept by the practitioner for continuity of work, held confidentially as described in the Disclaimer.

This site does not use marketing cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics by default.

How we use the information

Information collected is used solely to:

  • Communicate with you.
  • Schedule and conduct sessions.
  • Process payments.
  • Maintain continuity of work between sessions.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use it to train AI systems or any other automated learning.

Third-party services

QEmerge uses a small number of trusted service providers to operate the practice — including tools for scheduling, communication, hosting, and payment processing. Each provider has its own privacy practices.

We share with these services only the information needed for them to do their part of running the practice, and we choose providers with meaningful privacy and security commitments.

If you would like to know which specific tools are in use at any given time, contact us and we will tell you.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure — including limiting access, using encrypted communications where possible, and choosing service providers with responsible security practices.

No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information as personal, private, and worth protecting.

Data retention

We retain client communications and session notes for as long as the working relationship is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for continuity — typically two years.

After that, records are deleted or anonymized except where retention is legally required.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what information we hold about you.
  • Request a copy of that information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal obligations.
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications.

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

Children

QEmerge services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
